JOB POSTING: TUTOR

Job Description: We are seeking passionate and experienced educators to join our tutoring team. Ideal candidates will be certified teachers with all necessary clearances and a strong commitment to helping students succeed. As a tutor, you will work with individual students to address their unique learning needs and support their academic growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized or small group instruction in reading, writing, and other core subjects.
• Assess students’ strengths and areas for improvement to tailor instruction accordingly.
• Develop and implement effective lesson plans and instructional materials.
• Track and report students’ progress to parents and school administrators.
• Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment.
• Collaborate with other educators and staff to support student success.

Qualifications:

• Certified teacher with a valid teaching certificate.
• All necessary clearances (Act 34, Act 151, Act 114 Fingerprint Clearance, and Act 168)
• Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, preferably in a K-8 setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create engaging and effective lesson plans.
• Patience, flexibility, and a genuine passion for helping students.
