At Academic Advantage Tutoring Services, we value our students’ progress and our tutors’ time. To ensure a smooth scheduling process for everyone, we have established the following cancellation policy:
Student Cancellations
- 24-Hour Notice: If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance to avoid any fees.
- Same-Day Cancellations: If you need to cancel within 24 hours, a rescheduling option may be available, but is not guaranteed.
- Grace Period: We understand that unexpected situations arise, so each student is allowed one waived same-day cancellation per semester. After that, a 50% cancellation fee applies.
- No-Shows: If a student does not show up for a scheduled session without prior notice, the full session fee will be charged.
Emergency Situations
We understand that emergencies happen. If a cancellation is due to unavoidable circumstances, please contact us as soon as possible to discuss options.
Recurring Cancellations
Consistent cancellations (three or more within a two-month period) may result in loss of priority scheduling or discontinuation of services.
Tutor Cancellations
- In the rare event that a tutor must cancel, we will provide as much notice as possible and offer to reschedule the session at a convenient time.
